Trust by design

The math happens here. The money doesn’t.

Fetti Up calculates and explains the share. It then hands the friend off to a payment method. The app never becomes a wallet, bank, or payment custodian.

Where Fetti Up stops

From receipt image to friend-to-friend payment.

  1. Receipt image

The organizer chooses a receipt to scan into an editable draft.

  2. Reviewed bill

The organizer checks the extracted fields, any heads-ups, and the final amount before sharing.

  3. Calculated shares

Deterministic code calculates itemized shares and reconciles them to the bill total.

  4. Provider handoff

A friend chooses an available payment method and reviews the details there.

  5. Direct repayment

Money moves from the friend to the organizer outside Fetti Up.

Different rails, different behavior

A payment handoff should say what it can actually do.

Venmo

Venmo can prefill the amount and memo.

The sender reviews and confirms the payment in Venmo.

Cash App

Cash App can prefill the amount. The memo is added manually.

The sender reviews and confirms the payment in Cash App.

Zelle

Copy the organizer’s Zelle details, then finish in your bank app.

Cash or another method

Cash and other payment methods are recorded manually.

The organizer can record a full or partial repayment so the remaining amount stays accurate.

What a shared link reveals

Share the bill with the group, not the organizer's account.

Anyone with a shared link can see the bill's item names, amounts, participant names, and current assignments. That visibility is necessary for the group to review the split, so the link should go only to the intended people.

Stripped from the guest view

Sign-in email addresses, profile photos, controls that let the organizer edit or delete the bill, and private account settings are not included in the shared bill.

Handles revealed for payment

Payment handles are shown only as needed for a payer who accepts the bill and chooses that option.

No financial credentials

Fetti Up does not collect card numbers, bank account details, or payment-app passwords.

Account control

Delete your Fetti Up account from inside the app.

Account deletion permanently removes the profile, saved payment handles, notification tokens, and bills created by that account, including stored receipt images. A bill created by someone else remains that person's data, but the deleted account's identity link is removed from it.
